FENS and SPN (Sociedade Portuguesa de Neurociências) are delighted to announce that early registration and abstract submission are now open for the FENS Regional Meeting 2023, taking place on 3-5 May next year in Algarve, Portugal.

Check-in at FENS Regional Meeting 2023:

The check-in will be open on 2 May from 16h00 to 20h00. On 3 May the check-in will open at 08h00.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: If, at the time of the check-in, your registration still incomplete, you will be required to pay the corresponding onsite registration fee. Payment for on-site registration must be made via card payment. Visa/MasterCard cards from Russia are not accepted.

*Supervised minors and invited adults may, in special instances, have access to the FENS Regional Meeting 2023. Such access will be granted case by case by the organisers. Inside and around the FRM venue, infants and small children of registered delegates (or similar) may access the premises under the sole responsibility and constant supervision of a registered parent and/or designated caretaker.

Registration includes access to all the scientific events and materials. Does not include meals. See the special registration options in the registration platform if you want to include meals in your registration.

Meals

The meals purchased at the registration process are served as a seated buffet.

You are also welcome to bring your own food to the conference venue. There will be areas where you can enjoy your packed lunch during the conference.

Additionally, for those who prefer to dine out, there are several restaurants in close proximity to the venue. These restaurants offer a range of menu options and are within a short walking distance. The price range for lunch at these restaurants is approximately 23 euros per person.  

Registration Change and Cancellation Policy

Attendees can cancel their registration at any time, though the following applies regarding exchanges and refunds:

  • Full cancellation with full reimbursement up to 6 March 2023 (23:59 CEST)
  • No refunds after 6 March 2023 (23:59 CEST)

Code of Conduct – FRM 2023

We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all attendees. In order to ensure that everyone has a positive experience, organisation have established a code of conduct that all participants are expected to follow.

Registration categories:

FENS member – An active, effective, member of one of FENS member societies or societies associated with FENS.

Non-member – A participant from an academic or non-profit organisation who is not a FENS member.

Student – A pre-doctoral student, i e, a BSc, MSc or PhD student (or equivalent). Post-doctoral researchers are not included in this category.

Low-income & Lower middle-income countries – A participant from a country listed as a low-income country or a lower middle-income country, as defined by the World Bank Country Classification.

Accompanying person – A person 18 years-old or older that will not attend any of the scientific sessions.

NOTE: FENS membership and/or student status will be checked upon registration and may be subject to confirmation on-site, during the event. Fees may be recalculated if the participant fails to prove its membership and/or student status.*

Warning: There are an increasing number of fraudulent websites and emails that impersonate FRM. We would like to alert all our members, delegates, and exhibitors to possible scams. We strongly advise you to use only the official FRM 2023 online registration and accommodation form for your bookings, and not to trust emails offering attendee lists.
